For lower temperature: Place index finger at the left side of the wide end of pointer, but close to the hub. Insert screwdriver in pointer slot and turn screwdriver slowly clockwise. Adjust to proper setting.

For higher temperature: Place index finger at the right side of the wide end of pointer, but close to hub. Insert screwdriver in pointer slot and turn screwdriver slowly counter-clockwise. Adjust to proper setting.
